Yesterday I was texting with Christine and she asked me how I was feeling for the upcoming race. Told her that I was coming around but that had gained a few pounds in the last 7-8days that I just couldn’t seem to kick. She quickly responded with “want to talk and hash it out? I’ll call you at 1pm.” Doesn’t get any better than that. Turns out I only had 10min to talk with her because I HAD to take a call that came in to the office. But the few tricks she gave me in those 10mins were huge. She thought I was getting too many carbs and was holding on to too much water weight. Turns out she was spot on because I followed her advice and was back at race weight before I could blink (no literally, like over night magic or something). So here’s a little Top 10 List in honor of the Guru.

3 lbs dropped overnight
2 Fish Tacos
1 Happy boy at race weight again
